By now it is no secret that Frank Young is the authority on John Stanley. He's sleuthed out some of the great Stanley oddities (like Krazy Kat?!?!) and written with insight and humor about Stanley's process/approach/archetypes. If you have not read his blog then you are missing out because it's one of the single best cartoonist resources on the internet. So all that said, it's a delight to see Frank spend so much time on our favorite monster and his environment. And extra delightful, to see him highly recommend our three volume series of the Melvin Monster comics. Thanks, Frank! You're the best.
