New Batman is Ben Affleck?

Ben Affleck is officially cast as Batman in the upcoming sequel to Man of Steel, presumably named "Batman Vs. Superman." Well, this is surprising news, maybe he will end up directing Justice League movie after all, but more on that later. While many Nolanites and Batman fans are outraged, I am not entirely sure what to think. My reaction was almost literally what Captain Reynolds thought when he saw River in the first episode (video below). From what everyone has said, Ben Affleck has become a good actor and an excellent director since the disappointing Daredevil film. Yes, Ben Affleck has already played a comic book character, a Marvel one to be specific, and what I find funny is how Daredevil is the closest thing to Batman in the Marvel universe, except Daredevil is a much darker character in the comics and one of the best. About the Daredevil film, it was not very good; it basically got just about everything wrong with the character, however the movie itself is arguably average, and the director's cut is said to be a lot better. Also Disney-Marvel actually owns the rights to Daredevil now after Fox lost them. Back to Affleck as Batman, I am mostly indifferent about the choice. I have yet to see any of the movies he has directed, although I plan to watch some of them at some point. It was rumored a while back that Affleck might direct the Justice League movie, and considering that he often acts in the films that he directs that is not an entirely outlandish idea. While Zack Sndyer is the most likely candidate at this point, Affleck might be a better pick considering he directed the Oscar winning Argo, although his action direction is still in question. So, what do you think of this casting choice? Please comment below.

My initial reaction.

Man of Steel Sequel Villains: Part 2.

Since posting my first part of the Man of Steel Sequel Villains post, it was revealed that next Man of Steel it has been confirmed that Batman will play a main part in the next movie and that it will be named "Batman Vs. Superman" or "Superman Vs. Batman." Despite this, there is still the question about who will be the other villain in the film and who will be the villain in the third installment of Man of Steel.

Doomsday
Doomsday is the ultimate challenge for the Man of Steel, and most comic book fans know what his character means to Superman's story. Considering the sci-fi angle Man of Steel took, Doomsday would make sense since he is a clone of a prehistoric creature from Krypton, that can never die in the same way more than once. Because Doomsday lacks in intelligence and is usually controlled by an outside force, he would make the perfect collaborator with Lex Luthor or another similar intellectual villain. Basically Doomsday is a big rocky version of the Hulk, which can be somewhat of a problem since he does have many of the same powers as the Hulk, which obviously influenced the character to some degree. While Doomsday would be a great villain, he should be saved for third movie in the franchise.

Bizarro
Bizarro is the exact opposite of Superman, literally. The original version of Bizarro was created by a "duplication ray" but ended up creating a dumb, backwards talking version of Superman and all he wanted to do was to be more like Superman, except he had everything backwards, like right from wrong. In the Post-Crisis reimagining of the character, he was a failed clone by Lex Luthor, which could work in the Man of Steel sequel. However, Superman fighting another guy just like him again would probably not work with critics or audiences. Most critics where already bored with the action scenes before the end of Man of Steel.
Other than super strength equal to Superman he possesses the follow reverse powers that Superman has:
  • "freeze vision" instead of heat vision
  • "flame breath" instead of freeze breath
  • "vacuum breath" instead of super breath
  • "Bizarro telescopic vision" which allows Bizarro to see a "short distance behind his head" rather than a "long distance in front of his head"
  • "Bizarro microscopic vision" which makes objects "actually smaller to everyone" rather than merely "appear to be bigger to only the user"
  • "Bizarro X-ray vision" which allows Bizarro to "only see through lead" rather than the ability to "see through anything except lead"

  • Mongul
Mongul, the ruler of the Warworld. Warworld was created by a warlike alien race called the Warzoons, as their ultimate weapon. So Mongul and his Warworld could be a worthy adversary to Superman since his Warworld would pose a significant threat to Earth. However, will another alien invasion seem fresh and new enough?

    Darkseid
Last but not least, Darkseid, one of Superman's most challenging foes. Even though Darkseid is Superman's toughest enemy, he would be better suited for a Justice League movie since he is the Justice League's main villain. As with many of these other villains, he is very science fiction and therefore work within Man of Steel's universe. Darkseid's durability and strength are nearly equal to that of Superman and anyone who watched the great Justice League animated series, knows that Darkseid is a good villain. However, he is very similar to Marvel's Thanos, who will probably be the villain in The Avengers 3. This could cause some problems for the Justice League since it can be seen as ripping Marvel off.

What Superman villains would you want in the sequel? What are your thoughts on my picks? Please comment.

    Batman/Superman Movie Officially Announced

It is official, Batman will be part of the Man of Steel of sequel! What millions of fans have clamoring for is finally becoming a reality. The movie is set to be released in 2015, the same year as Star Wars Ep. VI, Avengers 2, and Ant-Man, therefore 2015 could be the most epic year in the history of cinema. Zack Sndyer is coming back to direct the sequel, which is not a bad thing nor it is the best thing for the franchise. The actor for Batman has yet to be announced however, there is plenty of time before principle photography begins so announce will not be for a while. It is mostly confirmed that Christian Bale will not be returning to reprise his role of Batman nor will any of the other "Nolanverse" characters be featured in the film. David Goyer is set to unfortunately pen the script again for the sequel. While Goyer can be a solid writer, his script for Man of Steel lacked the human touch and made all but Superman's character feel cold and distant. As for Batman, it has been suggested that he will play part of an antagonist, possibly fighting Superman, at least in the beginning. Unless Kryptonite or something similar is introduced in the Man of Steel universe, Batman stands no chance. Sure, Batman have defeated Superman in the Dark Knight Returns comic, but Superman did not really want to hurt Bruce. Other rumors are that a Flash movie is set for a 2016 release date and a Justice League film in 2017.
This is somewhat off topic but something that I will understand is why everyone was complaining about the recent reboot of Spider-Man before it even came out because people thought it was "too soon" for a reboot, even though Spider-Man 3 was disappointing. Conversely, there was approximately the same amount between the horrendous Superman Returns and Man of Steel yet no one was being jerk and complaining that it was "too soon" for a reboot. Also people are not complaining that is too soon for Batman to be rebooted, it makes no sense! Regardless, Man of Steel and the Dark Knight movie will either be the fun team-up fans have been waiting for, or a complete disaster. What are your thoughts on the upcoming Batman/Superman movie? Please sound off in the comments. Also please check back tomorrow for my review of Death Note.

Man of Steel Sequel Villains: Part 1.

With a Man of Steel sequel already in the works and could be released as soon next year, it makes fans wonder who will be Superman's next great foe. Thanks Jake P. for requesting I write a post about this.
One of main problems with Superman is that he does not have very many good villains, most of them cannot even punch. That was the only reason Zod was a decent villain in Man of Steel, however there are a few villains in Superman's rouges gallery that make for great villains that can pose both a physical and metal treat to the Man of Steel. Another problem is that we have already seen Superman battle someone with similar powers, and most of Superman's villains that he can actually fight have basically the same powers. Also please note that I may not be 100% accurate since what I know about Superman's earlier era comes mostly from reading wiki pages and other research rather than actually reading the comics.

    Lex Luthor
In the trailer you could see some "Lexcorp" logos and there a few more in the film. *Very Minor Spoiler* Lex was never seen in the movie. *End Spoiler* Luthor is Superman's most famous and unfortunately the most overused, the only good adaptation of the character I have seen was in animated series and even then Lex mostly used Kryptonite as an equalizer. Unlike the goofy Gene Hackman version of the character, Luthor has now changed into a scientist, similar to an evil version of Tony Stark without any of the cool parts. Although I have not seen the series "Breaking Bad," actor Bryan Cranston certainly fits the bill as a modern Luthor. Since the Man of Steel universe does not have to do directly with the comics, they could skip to the point in the comics where Lex is president of American and thus giving Luthor the power to do what he wants.

    Brainiac

Brainiac is a time-traveling android, who's goal is to collect the intelligence of a culture and then destroying it. Again, the sci-fi slant that Man of Steel took could work with Brainiac. Since his powers are based on technology, there could be many possibilities as to how he would fight Superman including many robots and Brainiac himself is incredibly strong and has superior intelligent. There have been many incarnations of Brainiac throughout the years and therefore he can be made into whatever the creative team sees fit. He is my preferred choice for the sequel.

    Parasite
Parasite would probably work in tandem with another villain like Lex Luthor because his character is not more henchmen level. Another character that would fit within the sci-fi universe of the Man of Steel, because he was an experiment gone wrong. Parasite's powers are the ability to absorb and temporarily steal others powers, and/or memories.

Man of Steel Review: Part 2.

Plot: 8.2/10- Superman is the only fleshed out character of the film, however it do a good job and making the audience root for Superman. Despite being likeable, Kal-El (Superman) rarely struggled nor was he conflicted for long. Except for one flashback scene, he never had to hold back, which can be viewed as either good or bad. Man of Steel of made Superman very likeable and surprising relatable. I may even make the bold statement that he is more likeable and relatable than Chris Nolan's Batman. Before any says "You cannot compare the two." it is inevitable and necessary. The pacing of Man of Steel was good, although there was occasional slow parts that some (not myself) may find boring. Also Superman/Clark Kent/Kal-El is one character with no real distinction opposed to the way Superman is often portrayed. Jor-El is the only other character given some development, albeit not much. General Zod was a solid, only because he gave Superman someone to fight, however he did have one great moment near the end. Zod's evil scheme was not terribly original but his motivations where valid,  and failed to live up to its full potential. At times it was trying to be extra dramatic but director Zack Sndyer is not all that skilled at delivering on those scenes and ultimately failed in that area. The dialogue was not all that great, it was just there with few moments of brilliant script writing in that aspect. While most would disagree, I believe Man of Steel lays better groundwork for sequels than Batman Begins did. As stated in the first half of the review, there is one really dumb moment and a few others scenes that felt superfluous. More on those points in my spoiler discussion post.

Action: 9.9/10- Yes! Superman finally had a chance to unleash his full potential for live-action battles! In terms of action, Zack Sndyer was the right director, even if his dramatic scenes were lacking. Zod and his followers are Superman's best villains for the sole reason that they are nearly equal strength as Superman and therefore there is no hold back. Superman's powers are used exactly as I have always imagined they would be in battle. Despite all of the awesome, there is one action scene that just did not work, poorly executed and the effects were lackluster compared to the rest of the film. Even in the opening on Krypton there was some good action. A few of the scenes were framed too closely and could have been slightly better, but that is a minor qualm. Even though I am not a major Superman fan, the action was so satisfying because Superman is a character that can deliver some epic battles against the right villain.

Acting: 8.0/10- Overall Man of Steel’s acting ranged from excellent to average, but it does well where it counts most. Henry Cavill was a superb Superman, even if he did not immediately have charisma for the audience to attach to until later in the film, he was still great. By the end of the film, Cavill was undoubtedly Superman. Michael Shannon as General Zod was good, but never great. Most may be disappointed considering the hype, but I was not. Russell Crowe is a fine Jor-El, even though he gave the standard Russell Crowe performance. Amy Adams has become one of my favorite actresses of late and considering her very limiting material given her, she did fine. However, Cavill and Adams had absolutely no chemistry together. Kevin Costner did well with the limited and sometimes weak material given to him. Diana Lane was a little on the hammy side with her performance, but basically copied the Aunt May type personality from the Spider-Man films. Antje Traue as Faora was the surprise of the film and turned out to almost be a better villain than Zod, if she only had more screen time. As for the rest of the cast, they were OK, mostly standard fair.

Special effects: 9.6/10- Some of the effects were obviously CGI, however Man of Steel looked fantastic overall. Superman's flying was actually believable for the first time and he really had that sense of speed that has been sorely lacking from previous incarnations. The set and costume design are near perfect. While some may dislike it, the stylized world of Krypton was fantastic! It really had a classic sci-fi and comic book feel.

Soundtrack: 9.8/10- Hans Zimmer does an excellent job scoring the picture. It is among Zimmer's best work, I may even consider better than his work on The Dark Knight Trilogy. While nothing can top John Williams' iconic score, Man of Steel's soundtrack was exactly what the film needed for its take on the character.

Comedy: 4.1/10- Probably four laughs throughout the film. Despite the lighter tone than Nolan's Batman, it lacked much humor, especially for a guy who is trying to be more human. However, this does not affect the rating because that is not what the film was attempting to do.

Would I Watch This Again: Man of Steel will most likely be a film that I add to my Blu-Ray collection when I can find a cheaper price for it.

Non-Bias Rating: 8.0/10- For the majority of audiences, Man of Steel offers awesome action scenes and summer blockbuster fun, even if it does have a few missteps along the way. For those not certain if they want to see it, just wait and be sure to watch it on Blu-Ray/DVD.

Bias Fan Rating: 9.4/10- Because I am a fan, I enjoyed Man of Steel. The film was almost everything that a Superman movie needed to be, fun, action-packed, and make Superman a likeable hero and somewhat relatable hero. If you were excited about seeing the film before it came out, definitely go see it in theaters, it is very underrated.

Closing comments: An excellent start to a possibly super franchise, Man of Steel delivers where I wanted it to most and gives us a Superman for the modern era.

Man of Steel Review: Part 1.

Thoughts: Man of Steel, the highly anticipated Superman by Christopher Nolan and Zack Sndyer, does it live up to the super-hype?
Man of Steel opens, as any Superman origin story would, on Krypton with Superman's father Jor-El spending at least 18 minutes on Krypton setting up the world and Jor-El's character. Russell Crowe was excellent as Jor-El, even if he basically played his character from Gladiator again. What I did find unexpected about the film was the quality and amount of action, because it was freaking awesome! After more than 30 years we finally get a serious battle with Superman and it was incredible! Even though it occasionally lacks in story, Man of Steel more than makes up for it in epic battle scenes. Also it made Superman's flying actually believable for the first time.
I love comic book movies and I am a fan of the characters and source material. While Superman is not my favorite character by any means, he would rank around the top 10 in terms of best superheroes and I have to say that Henry Cavill did an excellent job in the role, even if it took him most of the film to actually own the role. At the end he did capture what makes Superman great. Christopher Reeve better captured the character of Superman and will always be the definitive Superman, however Cavill was right for the Superman the film was going for. General Zod, played by Michael Shannon had some major hype going into the film and while Zod was good, his character was nothing special. He was underwhelming and never reached his true potential. Zod evil plan was terribly unoriginal; however it worked well enough to give us some awesome battles and Superman moments.
Amy Adams as Lois Lane was underused overall and was just there, although she did have her moments, few as they were.
Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent was ill served in the film to a degree, some of his scenes were great, others not so much. He had one really terrible moment, that makes wonder if a monkey wrote that part of the script.
Man of Steel was relatively accurate to the source material, yet brought something new that worked very well. Compared to other comic book films, Man of Steel would certainly rank among the top 15 of the genre. Compared to the original Superman films, Man of Steel is far superior, only those with who love the old Superman films because of nostalgia would probably disagree. Some of the aspects of Man of Steel where a little too similar to the original films, even going with plot points that the original films had done, opposed to the comics.
The movie is not dark as it is mostly humorless, even more so than Nolan’s Batman. Tonally it was more humorless yet fun and tries to go into a darker place but actually gets there.
The biggest issue that most critics complain about is that there is too much action and while one action scene did feel lacking, the action is exactly the reason you should go see it.
Despite how much of the film was great, some aspects were not executed as well. For example, the romance was kind of weak and barely explored, however that is rarely a major issue for me to complain about. With the exception of Superman, there are no other characters that you can become attached to; most of the others are flat and forgettable. Something else problematic is that a few characters are put in peril but are thinly developed and audience does not care about them at all. Since I am a comic book fan I knew who the characters were and they did not need an introduction, most audiences however, will not even remember their names.
In some ways, Man of Steel reminded me of Thor, The Avengers, and Gattaca, almost a little too much, particularly Thor. If you have seen the Gattaca, you will notice the similarities in one minor aspect of the film.
For those who are already sure they want to see Man of Steel in theaters, definitely go see it, the movie will be as good as you want to be, because I was 100% entertained by the movie, it was a lot of fun. On the other hand, if you are unsure whether or not to see it in theaters, just wait for it to come out DVD unless seeing the action on the big screen is important to you.

    Directed by: Zack Snyder
    Genre: Action, Comic Book, Sci-Fi,
    Release Date: June 14, 2013
    Running Time: 143 minutes
    MMPA rating: PG-13

The Good: Seriously awesome action scenes, Visually stunning, Cavill is a great Superman, Likeable hero, Made Superman relevant again, Excellent set and costume design, Hans Zimmer score, Superb special effects, Superman finally kicks butt, Krypton was awesome,

The Bad: Meaningless characters in peril, One kind of stupid moment,

Please check back tomorrow for the second half of this review where I will breakdown the film into multiple categories and analyze it and go into more detail about the set design and action. Have you seen the film? Do you plan to go see it?

    Man of Steel First Impressions.

Just got back from the Man of Steel preview screening and I have to say the movie great! A lot of fun, even if there are a few flaws. To answer the question about whether or not you should watch it, I have two answers: If you are one of the many who eagerly waited for the movie and hoped that it would be great, then certainly go see it in theaters because you will not be disappointed, unless your expectations are absurdly high. On the other hand, if you are on the fence or mostly sure that you do not care to see it, then wait for the DVD release. It is not groundbreaking by any means. However, it is almost everything I wanted to see in a Superman movie. Sometime tomorrow I will have at least the first half of my Man of Steel review, even if it is later in the day and then the second half by Saturday. Do you plan to watch the film? Please comment below. Part 1 of my review is up click on the link to check it out: Man of Steel Review: Part 1.

Man of Steel Early Screening and Review Roundup!

Tonight I will going to see a early screening of Man of Steel! I just discovered that my local theater is having an early screening of Man of Steel later tonight, providing it is not sold out. Sure it is only a four hours earlier than the midnight showing, but it is still kind of cool. Hopefully at least the first half of my review will be posted tomorrow Now for the Review Roundup of Man of Steel, does Superman live up to super-hype? From the reviews, it seems that it does not. My original skepticism has been confirmed because the film is receiving reviews ranging from great to terrible. It is apparent that Man of Steel does not even match the reviews of Iron Man 3, maybe Thor: The Dark World will be the big comic book film of the year.

Update: Just got the tickets, I will be going to see the film tonight! Also expect a "First Impressions" post later tonight around 10:00pm American Eastern time

Rotten Tomatoes: 60%: If its rating continues to drop at this rate Man of Steel may end up "Rotten". Here is what Rotten Tomatoes said: "Superman's return to the big screen is mostly successful, as Man of Steel provides enough exhilarating action and spectacle to overcome its occasional detours into generic blockbuster territory."

Chris Stuckmann: B+: Chris was excited for film but it slightly disappointed him. Watch his review below.

Beyond the Trailers: B- or 6/10: Grace Randolph is big fan of the comics and the character of Superman, but believes non-Nolanites and non-comic book fans might not enjoy the movie. Watch her spoiler-free review below.

Jeremy Jahns: Buy it even on Blu-Ray: Basically "Buy it even on Blu-Ray" is equal to somewhere between 3.5 and 4.0 stars. He was super pumped for the movie and was kind of disappointed.

Schmoes Know: 4/5 and 3.25/5: As you can hear in the review below, Kristian Harloff is a fan of the character and gave it a 4/5 and found the movie enjoyable, yet somewhat disappointing. Mark did not care much for the movie giving it a 3.25/5. Watch their review below.

    Man of Steel Trailer Review.

The new Man of Steel trailer is here and it finally shows some action! Although I am not as excited about the film as the many "Nolanites", it does look really cool. Hopefully Sndyer is holding back and saving the best stuff for the actual movie and not the trailer. The opening scene of Jor-El watching the destruction of Krypton and sending his son (Superman) to Earth appears similar to the old Richard Donner Superman film and the comics, which is a good sign. Superman's mother says "They'll kill him." and Jor-El is like "How? He will be a god to them.", which is a cool comeback. The butterfly stuck in the swing is odd and I have yet to figure out why the trailers keep showing it. Since the film appears to start from Superman's childhood, how do they plan to fit his "Smallville" origin and the big epic General Zod battle, and him meeting Lois Lane and Clark being a homeless guy? It appears that there is going to be a lot things stuffed into the movie. The part were said Clark "Can I just keep pretending I'm your son?" with Kevin Cosner is a great moment and Cosner looks like he is perfectly cast as Jonathan Kent. Later it looks like a spaceship of some kind that could be the "Fortress of Solitude" and if it is, that is a good way to change it up. Michael Shannon as General Zod looks kind of odd as General Zod, I am not sure how that casting choice will work out. Superman and Lois Lane talking in the interrogation room about the "S" on Superman's chest is another great scene as Lois almost says" Superman" and from what the trailer suggests, he will probably be named Superman only after he saves the world from Zod. That is a good sign that the film will not be overly serious and will still have fun with it. Now the action is what disappoints me thus far about the trailer. Superman is ridiculously overpowered in the DC Universe and can basically do anything he wants. Therefore, the action in the film could be freaking awesome and Sndyer has shown if there is one thing he can do it is direct action scenes, even if the characters and story are lacking. However, the trailer shows some close up of shots of the action, which would work in moderation but not throughout the film, hopefully the actual action scenes are much better than what has been shown.
Also there is said to be a Lexcorp sign in the trailer somewhere, which would refer to Lex Luther and would be a fun Easter Egg hinting at a larger Universe.
As for me not getting caught up in all the hype, is that I try not to speculate about how good or bad a film will be until I actually see it. Just because Christopher Nolan's name is on the trailer does not mean that he is that he is heavily involved in the film. He is not directing or write the screenplay just producing it and is credited with the story. Also some amazing films have awful trailers and vice-versa, so you never really know until you actually see it. If Man of Steel receives over a 70% on the Rotten Tomatoes meter I will probably go see it in theaters, otherwise I will just save my money to see Thor: The Dark World.

JT has come on to give his view since he can't do it on his own pc. Thanks James for the access.
By many accounts this looks like the best Superman film to date. Of course, all the advances in VFX  don't hurt that, but it's also because this one seems to have a real backstory to it. The line "he'll be like a god to them." points out what the filmmakers have been saying, that yeah Superman is, well, a superman. The climax will be one of the biggest fights ever, because, as overpowered as Kal is, Zod has the same powers. I expect the final cut to push 3 hours, with about 15 minutes of Krypton, an hour of him growing up, about half an hour of the drifter life, half an hour of captivity, and then the last hour or so will be one continuous battle with Zod and the aftermath. Oh, and the score sounds like a must own.

JT: Russel Crowe takes in the view of rockets red glare and bombs bursting in air. My guess is that the civil war between -El supporters and minions of Zod got of hand and released a doomsday weapon of some kind.
JT: The best explanation for this butterfly shot is that it is simultaneously supposed to represent deep themes like loss of innocence and coming to terms with loss of something. It's meant to emphasize the darkness and loneliness kid Superman is dealing with. It's also just an effective transition shot.
JT: Hard to tell what this is supposed to show. It appears to be the inside of the glacier where Superman lives after he puts on his suit.
JT: Superman blowing his cover, big time.
JT: General Zod attacking. Awesome looking weapon on the side there.
General Zod and all his minons look like they just went for a swim. The official uniform of Zod's army is a wetsuit? But it appears that they're all handcuffed. They might have been captured, or Zod could be controlling them all with mind-power.
JT: We are not happy, Kal, not happy...
"It's not an S. On my planet it means 'hope". What, does Superman have ESP too? How could he know?!
JT: Nice shot of the biggest battle. That appears to be Zod coming in on the right after knocking our Mr. Hope out of the sky for the first of several times.

A big thanks to JT for doing this collaboration and look for more trailer reviews with JT in the future. Also be sure to check out his blogs JT's Tales and The Window on the South.

    Superman: Man of Steel Trailer.

Everyone knows who Superman is and there is going to be a new Superman movie named "Man of Steel". The movie is being produced by Christopher Nolan, who is the director of The Dark Knight trilogy and Inception, and Man of Steel is directed my Zack Snyder. I am not a fan of Snyder's previous films Watchmen and 300, which looked good visually but were not great movies. It is written my David S. Goyer and Christopher Nolan. The trailer really sets the possible tone of movie well and it seems that it is going for a darker, more realistic version of Superman similar to the recent The Amazing Spider-Man reboot and Nolan Batman trilogy. Also it is important to emphasize that this is only a teaser trailer and not a full trailer. Although I am not the biggest Superman fan, I did enjoy the first two original Superman movies and I will review all of his movies when it is closer to the Man of Steel's release. Superman is the original superhero that all subsequent superheroes were based. This reinvention of the character could turn out excellently and give the current generation a Superman that most previous generations grew up with, however considering Snyder's past movies, it could turn into complete nonsense. Also I am not a big fan of Superman's new costume.
Below are both trailers that are being played in front The Dark Knight Rises in select theaters. There are two different versions of the trailer, one with Russell Crowe's voice as Jor-El, Superman's Kryptonian father, and Kevin Costner as Superman's addopted earth father.

Sometime I found really cool about this trailer is that the music used in the trailer is the music that was used in Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

What did you think of the teaser? Have you seen the original Superman movies? If so what is your favorite of the movies?
