2011: The Year It Was Slash Interns Are Awesome

Normally our interns stay for a few months, but this past Fall, I received a sweet earnest request from a UC Berkeley student asking if we would consider giving her a 2.5 week internship from Dec 27th to January 12th. She loves comics, speaks french and wants to come to Montreal. How can you say to no someone who wants to come work for you in the middle of a Quebec winter? So ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Anjelica Colliard, who has been assisting me on all things publicity since shortly before the New Year.

I must have sounded pretty obnoxious when on the first day, I said,"Anjelica, I really need you to go through our press archive and pull out all of our year end accolades. I've lost track." Oh, woe is me! I know, I know, the burdens I bear as D+Q publicist. But as you can see from the following list that Anjelica so kindly researched and put together, and took over a good week to compile, it was one heck of an assignment. Thank you Anjelica. We will miss you, but surely the past 2.5 weeks in the snowy Quebec are enough not to have you miss us.

For simplicity's sake, we kept this year end 2011 compilation to only hits from press and regular reviewers.
