I practically squeezed the life out of Adrian to get this photo in my hot little hands to blog (thank you Sarah!), and I feel like such a proud Mama! (I can't even imagine how his real Mom feels.) Here is Adrian shaking hands with the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama! Yes! Rock on! So exciting!
How did this happen you ask? Well, Mrs. Obama hosted a White House reception in June honoring the White House Historical Association and American Art. She invited a cross section of people involved in American art in all different ways: collectors, curators, artists, historians, etc. And Adrian was among them. I still can't believe it!
