Over the course of their Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter 2011 issues, The Paris Review serialized Roberto Bolano's The Third Reich, his first novel and a lost masterpiece. Better still, they asked Leanne Shapton to illustrate the four sections of the story. Now, five pieces of original hand-drawn artwork are available in an auction to raise money for The Paris Review. I don't think I need to tell you how lovely this would be as a gift for someone else or yourself.
