Sometimes I like to imagine tweeting is like a crazy old man in his garden talking to each dandelion as he pulls it out of the ground. Anyways, I posted this list a month ago but I thought it needed to come up to the top of the page.
So here's a photo blog of the D+Q year in comics, the only 2011 Drawn & Quarterly title not included here is the forthcoming Berlin #18 which is being finished as I type these words. Should be here before the end of the year along with our other December releases below. I am pretty proud of this year. I think the last several years have been amazing for comics--just tons of great books made by all involved in this industry. Below, I count 10 graphic novels proper, along with five classic strip reprints, two gekiga titles, FIVE New York Times bestsellers and ten Canadian titles (it matters to us!) and even one comic book (two by years end! Yay! we saved the comic book!) So, awesome.
