D+Q artist Pascal Girard is nominated for Outstanding Comic Book Cartoonist. Also nominated is new D+Qer Kate Beaton for Outstanding Web Comics Creator.
Long-time D+Q author Chester Brown is being inducted into the Canadian Comic Book Creator Hall of Fame.
And finally, we are nominated for Outstanding Comic Book Publishers, alongside Montreal publishers Conundrum Press, Les 400 Coups, La Pasteque, Kids Can Press, Udon Entertainment, and Koyama Press.
The awards ceremony happens June 18th at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo. Congratulations to all those nominated!
