Hey there New Yorkers! We're here for the awe-inspiring New York Art Book Fair, happening November 4th-7th at PS1.
Last night was the preview night, so Rory, our store manager, and I got a chance to briefly look at the other books and I can tell you that it is completely overwhelming. Three floors of the museum are completely filled with an assortment of everything from zines to expensive monographs, and I think there's pretty much no hope that Rory or I will come back with any money left. Aside from our table, you should also check out our friends from PictureBox who have an entire room with a big installation by Hairy Who member Karl Wirsum and Japanese scribbler King Terry, as well as a smattering of other things.
Besides having a bunch of new books at our table, we also have Leanne Shapton coming on Sunday from 12:30-1:00 to sign copies of the brand new THE NATIVE TREES OF CANADA, her gorgeous new watercolour book.
