Oh Yes: Who Will Comfort Toffle! More! Moomin! Madness!

The same week we received advances for our new book, WHO WILL COMFORT TOFFLE, the classic reprint companion to THE BOOK MOOMIN, MYMBLE AND LITTLE MY, there's a new issues of Harper's out with a profile of the legendary Tove (Two-veh) Jansson that says: "one of the great shy-child stories of all time" and about Jansson he states "being both an illustrator and writer is a rare feat--John Tenniel to her own Lewis Carroll, Ernest H. Shepard to her own A.A. Milne--but having also written non-children's fiction of such stature is as far as I know unprecedented. It is rather as though Jonathan Franzen not only admired Charles Shulz but was Charles Schulz, retired from his comic strips and deciding to try his hand at a family novel." The article is mostly on her New York Review of Books adult books, which if you haven't read yet, you haven't lived. And really that is not being facetious.
