Last month, the almighty Tom Spurgeon turned in his review for Gilbert Hernandez's-in-stores-and-on-tour-next-week MARBLE SEASON:
"It's a benign, lovely, encouraging view of that time in our lives, and a tribute to those that have made this journey before Hernandez did. Marble Season is a formidable work from one of our best cartoonists. It's Beto's year."
And now we have a starred review in Publishers Weekly that praises the childhood magic Gilbert perfectly captures in the book:

And how could this get any better? Well, maybe just seeing Gilbert talk IN PERSON about one of the above classic comics and the influence and effect it had on him as a child and an artist. I'm not saying any more people! But Gilbert's tour is going to be fabulous, almost as fan as the book itself.
