Fancy! First the NY Times and now this! The D+Q Librairie was featured in the May issue of Travel & Leisure. Unfortunately, we weren't able to buy a hard copy as we missed the May issue on stands. Online it says:
Independent bookstores thrive on downtown streets. Librairie Drawn & Quarterly, in the booming Mile-End neighborhood, specializes in underground comics and illustrated novels, including titles written and produced by the store’s own publishing house.
Remember, our store, D+Q Librairie, or "211" as in 211 Bernard Ouest, has its own blog and the latest entry is a fantastic travelblog on our retail director's, Rory, trip to BEA last week. Very funny, a bit surreal, a tiny bit sad, but overall positive! Long live print!
