At the Sand Diego Comic-Con a teaser for the Amazing Spider-Man's main villain, Electro, was revealed! While there is not much to go on, this teaser certainly intrigues me. Jamie Fox will be playing Electro, the new villain in the Amazing Spider-Man 2, and from what it appears, he looks entirely different from his comic book counterpart, other than the obvious ethnic change. There are versions of the character that does look a little closer to this type of Electro, however it is still vastly altered. Since Electro is not a major villain in the Spider-Man verse, the changes are not all that bad. From the set pictures at least, it seems that the character does use a lot of practical effects and makeup to create the character, which great because characters like him are all too often CGed. Albeit short, the teaser gets me excited for one of my most anticipated films of 2014! What do you think? Please comment below.
