A word about interns -- "awesome."
Our final summer intern, Laura Terry, ended her tenure here yesterday. I think the end of the summer makes us all a little teary-eyed as does the departure of someone who you have come to think of as family. God, I'm getting all choked up here. Why do they keep leaving??
So on Laura's second to last day we went down to the converted shipping container that is now a lobster roll truck. I, of course, forgot to make sure that Laura's dietary restrictions were accounted for so she just had a fizzy water. THE LOBSTER ROLLS WERE DELICIOUS! {See you in White River Junction, Laura.}
**Peggy's Note** How do we welcome and say thanks to a great intern? By making sure that any special event we invite them to, they can't enjoy the food. Poor Laura's first event was the D+Q Fête des Fromages and the last one was a trip for Lobster Rolls! We're sorry Laura, thanks for being a great sport!
