My Coworkers Are Awesome!

The librairie is featured in the Montreal Gazette today. Writer Sarah Gilbert captures the very essence of what we are trying to achieve with the store. I especially like the following quotes from my coworker Julia:

"We know books. We love them, and we sell more of them that way," said bookseller Julia Pohl-Miranda.

Is she talking about suggestive selling, along the lines of 'Would you like fries with that?'

"It's more like, 'These fries are delicious! I ate them for breakfast and lunch and dinner!' " corrected Pohl-Miranda, who recently devoured and recommended Great House by Nicole Krauss.
