What is Chris Ware Up To This Summer?

Well, he is as busy as always. And not just with his comics (CHEAP PLUG ALERT ACME 20 OUT THIS FALL!) it appears from this Chicago Tribune article that Chris is the exhibit designer for a fantastic new show, titled Louis Sullivan's Idea.

Sullivan was a Chicago architect, inventor of the modern skyscraper, mentor to Frank Lloyd Wright, coined the phrase "form ever follows function" and considered by some to be the father of modernism. The show is a career overview and is comprised of both photographs, blueprints and over 100 objects that -get this- you can touch! It is all on view at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington St. through November 28. Admission is free.

The will be an accompanying catalogue, which judging from this preview, will be flat out gorgeous.
