Out of all the things that happened at SPX, this is the best thing

Complete and thrilling SPX blog post to come tomorrow, but in the meantime, here's something absolutely incredible that happened:

MARGARET SANGER'S GRANDDAUGHTER CAME BY THE BOOTH! That's right. Nancy Sanger read about Peter Bagge's new book, Woman Rebel: The Margaret Sanger Story, on Sunday morning and immediately rushed to the convention centre to buy the book. We insisted she have a copy for free, but she was incredibly nice and only agreed under the condition that we let her purchase three additional copies—one for her sister, and one for each of her daughters.

And my little feminist heart grew three sizes that day.

Sadly Peter had just left to catch his flight, but it was glorious nonetheless. And none of it would have been possible if it weren't for the wonderful people at SPX who do such an incredible job promoting the show, and most importantly, promoting the talented cartoonists who attend their show and make it the success that it is. This whole chain of events really says a lot about Warren and his crew—so THANK YOU Warren + helping hands—you are all the very very best.

Woman Rebel will be in stores October 15! Dearest readers, set your bills aside. This is not a book to be missed.
