Doctor Who The Angels Take Manhattan Review.

As requested by a Anonymous comment and voted on in the Reader’s Choice post, here is the review for the Doctor Who episode "The Angels Take Manhattan". Warning spoilers ahead.
It was common knowledge that "The Angels Take Manhattan" would be the last episode for fan-favorite and my favorite companions Amy and Rory. Although it was not quite as fun as many other episodes, it focused more on the characters and their tragic sendoff. The episode is perfectly paced and explores even more of the time traveling logic, which deals with can history be changed with you now how it ends.   River Song’s appearance in the episode was fun and her interaction with The Doctor is great as always. The tone of the episode was darker than usual, which was to convey the seriousness of the situation and it worked. One of the most crushing parts of the episode is when right before Amy and Rory escape the Angels it one finally catches them. That was a shock, almost thought they would make it, but alas, they did not.

Overall 9.6/10- In short, "The Angels Take Manhattan" was a fitting departure to Amy and Rory, albeit a sad one.

Here is the a storyboard of a scene that was never filmed for the episode but has Rory's voice over in it and a must watch if you have seen the episode.
