I know you've all been waiting on tenterhooks...

For Jason Lutes news! And I have some.

Tomorrow, Friday, November 4th, from 5 to 7 pm, Jason Lutes will be giving a gallery talk at CCS's opening for "Berlin: City of Drafts, Comics, and Ancillary Material." Vermontians (Vermontites?), head on down to the Center for Cartoon Studies at 94 South Main St in White River Junction, VT.

From the site: "This exhibit showcases a single 24-page chapter [a.k.a Berlin 17] from the book Berlin: City of Lights by cartoonist and CCS faculty member Jason Lutes. Along with the finished original art, the exhibit features source material, initial thumbnail drafts of the story, and preliminary sketches."

Don't miss this opportunity to get a little behind-the-scenes understanding of how Jason produces the beautiful work he does, and hey, while we're on the topic, guess what? Berlin 18 comes out in December! Yes yes!
