This Week D+Q in Toronto! TCAF Kicks Off on Friday at the TPL!

Sorry for the delay in posting this, but when you have about 10 authors attending TCAF–Kate Beaton, Chester Brown, Brecht Evens, Pascal Girard, Keith Jones, Joe Ollmann, John Porcellino, R. Sikoryak, Jillian Tamaki, Adrian Tomine, Chris Ware, Zach Worton and Seth-things can get a little nutty!

First off, mark your calendar for Friday night with the Kick Off! Spectacular! A Contemporary Comix Cavalcade featuring Chester Brown, Seth, Adrian Tomine, and Chris Ware! Moderated by Dan Nadel, Editor of The Comics Journal. Last year, Dan moderated one of the best comic book discussions of 2010 when he went "deep-nerd" on Dan Clowes at APE, expect the same high caliber, not your average what do you listen to while drawing discussion.

Toronto Reference Library, 789 Yonge Street The Bram and Bluma Appel Salon
7:30PM-8:30PM, Doors at 6:30PM This event is free, but ticketed. Online tickets are currently "sold-out" but there will be 150 at the door.

And then Saturday at 10 AM at the library, TCAF officially starts! For more information, check out the TCAF website. How crazy awesomely busy will we be? Check out our schedule. Sorry it isn't pretty, but when you have this many things going on, it's hard to be pretty!
