Lynda Barry in NYC Today! Lopate! Windfall! Sacco!

So aren't you lucky people, another radio interview with Lynda Barry, but this time, the interview will be on a more serious note. Today on Leonard Lopate on WNYC, Lynda will be interviewed about the Wind Farm Industry (a battle and debate we have blogged about from time to time, but Lynda has a whole website devoted to it) a long with documentarian Laura Israel, who filmed the doc WINDFALL, they are both in town for the DOC NYC festival-- astute comic industry watchers may recognize the festival's artistic director Thom Powers as a former comics critic.

Israel's film, WINDFALL sounds fascinating and will screen tonight at the festival at 7:00 PM with questions with Laura and Lynda to follow.

If you can't make that, there is also the DOC Convergence programming this afternoon for perhaps the best pairing of cartoonists ever! Lynda Barry and Joe Sacco will be in conversation about nonfiction in comics. How I wish I could be in attendance.
