Doug Wright Award winners

Congratulations are in order to both Marc Bell and Seth for their Doug Wright Award wins this past weekend.



Marc won the Pigskin Peters award, undoubtedly the best looking prize in comics, for Hot Potatoe. The award was given out by last year's Pigskin Peters award winner, Matthew Forsythe, who noted in his speech that Marc has "influenced a whole wave of comics and artists – myself included."


Best Book award went to Seth for his giant-sized George Sprott and Best Emerging Talent award went to Michael DeForge for his impressive comic book, Lose #1, published by the equally-impressive Koyama Press.
