My newest favorite comics character--JUDY JUNIOR

I really do love these Judy Junior stories by John Stanley. They are just relentlessly mean and funny. Poor Jimmy Fuzzi--he just gets bulldozed again and again by the force of nature that is Judy Junior. This story, from the upcoming Thirteen Going on Eighteen, Volume One collection that is due out in December, contains one of my all-time favorite comics panels as well (third to last).



{For the record, my guess is that Judy Jr is in fact the younger version of Judy rather than her little sister. Likely, the alliteration of the name won out over calling her "Little Judy."}
