Wright and his peers

There's been a lot of great reviews on the new Doug Wright book like this one and this one, and I particularly like this recent blog report which provides a fairly comprehensive summary of all of the impressive elements of the book. Leif Peng's blog is also worthy of being bookmarked as a fantastic resource of mid-20th century North American illustration and comics work. Also this week, he has another couple of write-ups on two other "giants of the north," Len Norris and (one of my favorites) Peter Whalley.
