Take that, Sanrio!

During my recent travels in China, I kept coming across a familiar beaming bulbous face everywhere I turned. No, I don't mean Mao; China has moved on to the cult of Moomin!

My favorite? The garishly-colored Moomin card holders, of course! Because the image on the front of Moomin and Snorkmaiden riding dolphins into the sunset says much more about its owner than an identity card ever could.
